SWEET BERRY SWEETNESS BALANCED BY EARTHLY, TOFFEE NOTES, STRONG FLAVOURS AND GOOD BODY

Sailors' Society in India

Our Indian coffee offers a sweet berry sweetness that will tantalise your tastebuds. The sweetness is finely balanced with earthly toffee notes, resulting in strong flavours that give this coffee great body.

THE REGION
Our Indian coffee come from a selection of estates and family small hold farms in the states of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu in the south of the country.

THE PLANTATION
Coffee beans from this region, after harvesting, are exposed to the monsoon winds for a period of three to four months, causing the beans to swell and lose their original acidity, resulting in a sweet and syrupy brew.

The farms are typically between 1000-1400 metres above sea level and grown under a partial canopy shade.

Sailors' Society in India

Sailors’ Society funds free ear and eye tests for seafarers in the Indian port of Kandla.

It is often difficult for seafarers to leave the port, making access to vital healthcare and other facilities limited.

The testing equipment brings healthcare to seafarers and regular examination can identify issues before they have the chance to develop and have a serious impact on seafarers’ health and ability to work.
