A bright Colombian coffee, bursting with toffee apple and blackcurrant sweetness.
This Fairtrade, single origin coffee is from the Asprotimana Farmer’s Cooperative in
the Huila coffee-growing region of Colombia. It has fruity sweetness throughout and
subtle notes of dark chocolate in the finish.
Sailors’ Society launched this special Colombian coffee in partnership with The National Museum of the Royal Navy’s HMS Victory, to mark our 200th anniversary in 2018.
The coffee reflects our long links with Nelson’s flagship. In 1904, the Lords of the Admiralty gifted us copper and wood from the iconic vessel, which we used to raise funds to support our work.
The story continues; by buying this coffee today, you’ll be helping us to provide a lifeline for seafarers and their families in need.
My husband bought this coffee from a Christian resource exhibition as he liked the link to Portsmouth (my place of birth) and the charity it benefitted. However, it is also one of the nicest coffees we have tasted, such a strong yet smooth flavour. We liked it so much that I looked for this website to purchase more!
A hit in the office and at home! A delicious, smooth coffee that, for me, is the ideal strength. This has been a hit in the office (particularly with our ex-submariner Managing Director who loves supporting Royal Navy and seafarer causes) and at home, as it is keeping my father-in-law, who is choosy with his coffee to say the least, quiet while he’s having a cuppa!
